In the Store Settings under “Step 1 Setup” there is a checkbox titled “Show Opt In Checkbox”. When checked, an Opt In checkbox is presented to the user during checkout that enables you to build a white list of email addresses. This is a valuable tool you can use for email marketing and email blasting. The Opt In field is stored to database with the customer email address.
