I have inherited a site that has Smith Shopping cart version 3.96 installed.

Will version 3.96 work with DNN 6.0.2?

In the settings area of version 3.96 I do not see Authorize.net AIM as a gateway option - there is only Authorize.net as an option - is that the same thing?

I also need to handle recurring payments, can version 3.96 do this?  In the user manaual for version 4.58 I can see where there are settings in the General Store set-up for recurring payments, but similar settings are not present in the settings area for version 3.96 so I am uncertain if it can handle recurring payments.

I went to your documents page I did not see where I can download older user manauals, can you send me a link to the user manual  for version 3.96?

Hi Judy,

SmithCart 3.96 is not compatible with DNN 6+, the first released Cart compatible with DNN 6 was v.4.46 .Do you intend to upgrade DNN?

In SmithCart v.3.96 only one Authorize.net gateway was supported which is the AIM option. The Authorize.net SIM option provides a customizable, secure hosted payment form to make integration easy for Web merchants that do not have an SSL certificate. I would strongly recommend upgrading your Cart to the latest version as there have been many enhancements and features added to allow more functionality of recurring billing support.

Unfortunately we do not have a Manual available for v.3.96 as we don’t maintain source code for versions of the cart more than 3 versions back. You will need to upgrade to the latest version of the Cart in order to receive support for these types of issues.
