Hello!

I have just tried testing my shopping cart after upgrading to DNN 6.0 and Smithcart 4.52 and I am receiving this error message:

"We couldn't complete your payment.

Status : failure
Message : Invalid Configuration
"

Any ideas on how I figure out what is causing the problem? 

My PayPal Pro account appears to set up correctly, so I am thinking it is a problem on my end.  I am also having trouble with DNN Security Roles.  I have been unable to add security roles since upgrading and have that question in to them for help.  This may be part of the problem, since security role assignment is something that happens after the sale.  But...I wasn't shure that it may be 2 completely different issues.  Have you heard of people unable to complete transactions after upgrade to DNN 6.0?  Also...I am not showing any errors or exceptions related to this inthe log.

Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi Michelle,

I just tried to re-produce this error on my test portal and was unable to recreate the error but I may not have the exact same configuration as you. Can you login to our test site http://www7.smith-consulting.com/ and try to replicate the error. This will determine if the issue is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific dnn portal/cart install.

I was able to complete the transaction and had no error message.

The issue wasn't resolved!!!!!!  I completed a transaction on the website you sent me to with no error...I AM STILL HAVING MY ERRORS!

Hi Michelle,

When you logged onto our test portal did you configure the settings to match your store? Or did you run a transaction with the settings configuration which were already set ?

I just ran it as it was set.  I am sorry...I did not realize that I needed to change anything.  That makes sense. I will do that and get back to you.

Kevin,

I was NOT able to complete a transaction using my settings.  I am thinking it may be my PayPal Website Pro, but It worked before the upgrade and the API info hasn't changed.  I just don't know how to fix it.   Nothing on that end has changed.  The only thing that has changed is the DNN upgrade

Is there anything logged in the Event Viewer? Did you receive Confirmation Emails?

Hi Kevin!  I am putting the issue on hold for a few days...I think it is a PayPal issue and I should know the answer to that by Monday.  I will report back to either close the issue or we will take another look at it.

Kevin...it was a Paypal issue that has now been resolved...but another problem has surfaced.  The confirmation of purchase emails do not contain any information...they are blank!  Before I upgraded the emails worked fine (except a minor formatting issue...)

Where do I edit the content for the outgoing e-mail?  What could be causing it to be blank?  When I go to the e-mails section it says there are 3 templates there...but I get this error if I try to save one:

Looks like you are missing the "smith_addemailtemplatesc" stored proc after the upgrade.  Please see the following forum post for the solution http://www.smith-consulting.com/Forum...
