Is there a way to make an optional delivery check box in the cart? We have a customer that wants to make it optional to pickup the items up or have them delivered. It’s a flat rate delivery charge. I saw that there is a custom ship option but I don’t see where to incorporate that in the cart.

To accurately answer your question, which version of the Cart are you currently running? How do you have your Shipping and handling configures in the Cart Settings?

Hello,
 
Currently an "Optional Delivery Checkbox" is not supported however, if you are using the Custom Ship Methods with Fixed Amounts shipping method and are configured through the Admin Menu in the Shipping section where you can create a Custom Method named something similar to "In-Store Pick-up" add set the Shipping Method Amount to "0" whichever amount you intend to apply to your "optional pickup" option.
