The manual says "Discounts may be expressed in dollars or percentages."  I see how to enter a dollar discount but how do you enter a percentage discount?  I tryed a 90% and that did not work.

What version of the cart are you running? The cart has many options for discounting which one are you using?

I have the lasted, I think it is 4.56.... just installed it last week.  How do you check the version number?

Hi Mary,

You can find the Module Version by navigating to the Host Menu then depending which version of DNN you are you running, select either Module Definitions or Extensions and you will find the version listed next to the Smith modules installed.

Which discounts option do you wish to utilize?

Thanks,

It is version 4.67.0

I am just beginning to set up my site and the majority of my products will have volume pricing... the more you buy the less the unit price is.  For ease in maintaining the pricing, and because most products will have several tiers in pricing,  I would prefer to set a base price and then the volume prices to be a % of that base.  Will this work and how?

Hi Mary,

Sounds like you would want to use the Price Class Discounts option which allow for mix and match pricing in the cart by enabling a new “Price Class” field that will allow you to group products by price class and calculate quantity discounts by price class. For more information please see pg.174 of the Manual here:

Thanks,
