In our cart, we of course accept credit cards, but not AMEX. However, it is accepting AMEX card numbers and processing them, which results in transactions being declined because we are not setup with our payment gateway or AMEX to accept them. Is there a setting where we can exclude certain cards if someone enters them?

Hi Armando,

That would be a great feature however, currently there is not a feature available to choose which card types can be accepted. As a solution, you can add an asp:RequiredFieldValidator with a Regular Expression Validator control to validate a the credit card number being entered.

A RegularExpressionValidator would be the easiest way to do this. You can do it yourself, in the ASCX code. I use them quite a bit.

Hi Niels,

I believe you are currently working with programming to add a new feature to allow you to select which credit cards are selected correct?

Yes I am....but if I can save money then that would be great! Doesnt seem like it as I can't change those things myself.

Hi Niels,

If you prefer not to make a change to the Cart files then an Enhancement would be your most efficient option as it will also help to save to time when setting up a new store.
