I have a question about the Smith Cart. Can you help me understand the "multiple catalogs within the same portal" feature?
Does this mean that within the same portal..we can show certain products on one page...and different products on another?

Regards,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Which version of the Cart are you currently running? I'm not certain exactly which feature you are referring to.

Smith Cart allows you to add the BuyNow module to multiple pages in your DNN portal This allows you to create of an unlimited number of stores on your Web site to offer different product selections, presentations, payment methods, shipping rates, and tax setup. This is useful for such purposes as building a members-only store or creating a discount store for clearance items. The share flag can be useful in this context to share products across multiple buynow modules eliminating the need to reenter your products in each buynow module.

Thanks,

Hi Kevin,

We've installed version 4.67. The feature I'm referring to is described as "Ability to add multiple product catalogs on separate pages".

We have a client who is a reseller of 3 brands. On his landing page we'll give the users the choice of which brand they'd like to shop.
Ideally, we're hoping to be able to create separate pages on the one site and show just "brand X" products on one page, "brandy Y" on another, "brand Z" on a third.

Is this possible?

Regards,

Paul
