We have certain products in our cart that allow for different colors choices.  Same SKU, consumer can select a size and then can select a color.  Some sizes have different color allowances.  We have set up Variant Groups to specify the different color group options and assigned them as conditional groups to the appropriate size(s).

Our issue is that when a consumer clicks on a product and views the product detail page, the default size (which is always the smallest size) drop down is displayed but the color choices for that default size are not.

Consumers are required to toggle to another size for the Color choices to be visible.  Shouldn't the color choices pop up on page load?

I have toyed with unchecking the hide button for the Variant Group for the smaller size but then the size option and two colors options are available.  This won't work as the consumer shouldn’t be able to choose two colors for one product.

Is there a way to force the consumer to make the selection?  As it is now if the consumer doesn't select a size then the order is processed with Size="Select Size".  We don't really want this to be an option.  I think most people will make the selection.

Just curious.
