Hello,

I hope that I can explain my scenario well enough to make sense. I am creating an e-commerce store that will sell musical instruments/products. I have a menu at the top of my page which allows a customer to filter the parent catagory of "guitar" down to "electric guitar", "acoustic guitar", and so on.

My scenario is this. As explained above, on my website, a visitor will first filter the parent and also a sub-catagory. After this they hit the buy now page.

And finally the question...

I want to use the catagory module, but I want the module to not display the parent and first sub-catagory in it's listing, as the customer has already filtered these options through the menu system, and I do not want to crowd them with a massive list of links (my catagory structure will be massive due to the wide rage of products that will be for sale).

Is this possible?

Thanks!

Alex

Or even simplier,

Is it possible to add the category module to a page, and specify which categories you want it to display?

Thanks for the reply Kevin,

After giving the question more thought, and learning you can create parent and child buy now modules on a single site, I have refined this question.
