The calculate shipping button in the cart.ascx control is suppose to be forced to be clicked if certain shipping types are specified.  We are having issues with people on Android and possible IPhone and IPad not being forced to click the button and going through the checkout process without having to pay shipping.  Are you aware of this issue and if so is there any way to fix it?

We have not had any reports of such an issue. Which version of SmithCart and DNN are you currently running?

DNN 5.3.1

Smith Cart 4.67

I tested on an Android Bionic device.

Hi Stuart,

I have tried to re-produce this issue on my test portal and was unable to recreate the same behavior, plasae see the screenshot belowof your site taken using my DROID X. Can you login to our test site http://www7.smith-consulting.com/ and try to replicate the error. This will determine if the issue is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific dnn portal/cart install. For login credentials, please send an email with a link to this post to support@smith-consulting.com.

Also since you are running an older version of DNN 5, you can create a fresh DNN 5.6+ sandbox on your desktop or laptop using the following link and install SmithCart so you can verify correct behavior which should isolate the issue as being in the Cart or your server/DNN portal setup.

I have upgraded the site to Dotnetnuke 5.6.7 and that seems to have resolved the issue.  If we continue to get customers who haven't clicked the calculate shipping button then I will be back ;)

Hi Stuart,

Thanks for posting back. Glad to hear an upgrade of DNN from 5.3.1 to 5.6.7 was the solution.
