How do you view the information entered in the User Defined Date from Step 1 in the Cart?

I can see it in the database in the Smith_SmithOrders table as UDDate1, but I am expecting to see it appear when viewing Order Details, or as a template token in the Print Invoice area and neither seem to display the information.

For example on ManageOrderDetail.ascx under "Custom Fields" you would think the two date fields would appear "Step 1 Custom Fields", but they don't.

If there is a way to view them, please let me know how.

Thanks,

Stuart

Hi Stuart,

Which version of the Cart are you currently running?

The User Defined Date, or Custon Date Field #1 as it's called now, is currently not displayed in the Manage Order Details screen. To view this field, add the [CUSTOMDATE] token to your email templates or if you have budget in your project and would like to be provided with a fixed quote to sponsor a portion of the programming for this enhancement, please send an email with a link to this post to sales@smith-consulting.com. We quote feature enhancements below cost since it is enhancing the module and in most cases we can start work within a week.

Thanks,

I am testing this again SmithCart 4.93.

I tried to add [CUSTOMDATE] to the Invoice Template and that didn't seem to work either.

I don't have money for development. I might just expose the value through a different datagrid.

Stuart
