Hello,
I am currently building a webstore, and attempting to add products to that store using the product import feature in Smith Cart. I am running version 4.93.
There are a few issues I am noticing as I have begun testing how the import feature works with product variants. The first issue I have noticed is that the spreadsheet gives the option to import up to 5 variants on each product, but only gives you one field for product variant SKU. In my mind, this is conflicting, as each variant should have it's own unique SKU field. What is the logic and functionality of the single VariantSku field?
The second issue I am having can be viewed here.

As you can see, I have imported a product that has 5 variants, and also 5 alternate images. After the import, none of the variants display an image. I check the list of variants to make sure that the import has included the correct file names for the associated images. The naming is correct. I attempt to edit a product variant, and I am hit with the following error.
A critical error has occurred. 'rblDDImageOptions' has a SelectedValue which is invalid because it does not exist in the list of items. Parameter name: value
The funny thing is, If I add a 6th variant through the web interface to the product, all images (variant and main) magically begin to work. If I remove this 6th variant, no images are displayed. This tells me that my image naming convention, and placement of image files on my server is correct.
What does this error mean? I found the following thread on a similar topic.

Is this the same bug I am experiencing?
Finally I started this thread yesterday, but seeing as it is closely related to this topic, I felt I should link it.

Selecting a product variant causes all Image Gallery effects to stop working. It does not matter if you are using the lightbox or maginifying option. I have to re-load the browser window to get gallery effects to work again. It does not matter if I specify a large and zoom image file inside my variant - a variant will not load any zoom image effects. Is this a bug?
