Hi,

 

As from the version 4.98, the PayPal IPN is implemented, the user can close the page immediately after having paid through the PayPal website ;  the transaction will be marked as 'Paid' in the Smith Cart database (Status=true in the PayHist table).

 

However, I have noticed that in this case, no order email is sent, neither to the Store administrator, nor to the user. The problem did not appear when the user waits for the redirection or when the emails are re-sent from the admin order page.

 

Can you fix this ?

This issue will be resolved with the PayPal IPN update very soon. I will postback to this post as soon as an update is available.

Hi Rico,

This issue was resolved in the release of v5.0. To confirm this issue is fixed in the latest version of the Cart you can download the trial version and then upgrade to the latest build to fix the issue.

Important: When upgrading, it is always recommended that you first do the upgrade in a test environment and make sure you have a full backup before installing on your live site in case you need to rollback.
