My setup:

         DNN 6.0 with smithcart 5.0

          parent portal: http://localhost/       (Cross Portal Share Type : Master Portal)

          child portal : http://localhost/subsite  (Cross Portal Share Type: Child Portal)

Product defined in parent portal (both has Share Between Catalogs enabled):

        1. Market report. (a normal product)

        2. Sale forecast (upsell product)

Question: 

    I can see both products showing up in prodcut list of parent and child portals

    The upsell product shows up during checkout process in parent portal, but not showing up when I checkout in child portal.

    What's correct way to do it?

Hi Bing,

Currently the ability to Share Upsell Products across portals is not currently supported. As a solution, you can add the Product to the Portal you would like to offer it as an Upsell Item, then enable the "Hide Product" feature which will prevent the Product from being displayed on the Product Listing page but will display the item as an upsell during checkout.

We are also available to develop the ability to share upsell items across portals. Thanks let me know this.

We have bought source code and probably will implement our own logic for upsell products.
