DNN 6.2.0 / SC 5.0 / SQL Std. 2008 / Using UPS real-time published rates to calculate shipping
I'm trying to figure out how the Multiple Ship To's work.
I've checked Cart Settings > Checkout Step 1 Setup > Show Address Book and I have a dropdown list on the Shipping / Step 1 checkout page.
This is where I'm confused, on the previous page (View Cart) where I type in my Ship To address to calculate shipping I can type in any address (why type it in when I've enabled "Show Address Book"). So I type in an address next door from where it is being shipped and get a super low shipping rate of say $9.00, I then click "Proceed to Checkout" and I am now presented with my -Select Ship To- address book. I pick my really long cross country address and the get really low shipping rate of $9.00 instead of the $18.00 rate that it should cost. What you type in the Calculate Shipping Address is not updated when you pick a different address from the first step screen. Why type in an address when you have a Ship To Address book?
I've just lost my shirt on this sale and I'm paying someone to take my inventory.
Please help me figure out how this multiple ship to address thing works. The documentation on page 249 doesn't match with what's seen on the screen in version 5.0.
Thanks for your time,
Darren
