Hi,
Can we use smith cart for mobile version? does it support for mobile apps like Android, iphone, ipad?

Hi Kevin,
I'm trying to use smith cart for mobile apps. So i created a new page and installed the buy now module and configured the settings. When I'm creating a page in DNN, I selected the page skin as "Mobile" which is an in-built function in DNN 6.1 and above. I created another page and installed the product detail module and selected the skin as "Mobile" But for the cart pages, I'm unable to set the page settings to Mobile. When i click on page settings, the look and feel of the pop-up got changed. The popup's from the cart pages are displayed in smaller size/header and the footer is seperated. Please let me know how to resolve this issue.
Does smith cart support for Mobile Apps. I'm using Android.
I'm using smith cart 5.0 and DNN 6.2 and Sql 2008

Hi Swetha,
Yes SmithCart supports the use of mobile devices. The Cart pages such as the Cart. Step 1, Step 2, etc are sub-[ages of the BuyNow module and will use your dnn admin skin. If you want the same skin on the checkout pages, you will need to set your portal and admin skin to use the same skin.

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your reply. I tried changing the skin to Mobile in both my portal and admin pages.
In my tab, it is looking fine, but the thing is when i tried changing my Home page skin to Mobile skin, I'm missing Login and Register links on the page. Again for Login page, I need to manually enter login.aspx in the browser to get the login page.
Also When i tested in Android, the layout is showing little bit difference i.e i need to scroll to left and right to view the full page. My client requirement is we should not scroll to left and right to view the full npage. It should exactly fit into the Android or Iphone mobiles.
Your suggestion please??

Hi Swetha,
Are you using the DarkKnightMobile skin for your mobile site? The Login and Register links are usually included in the skin
On which page are you referring to where you need to scroll to left and right to view the full page?

How can I add login and registration links in the skin acsx file? I'm using DNN 6.2 and Smith cart 5.0 trial version. Which DNN version and Smith cart are you using? And may I know your Android mobile version ??
My android version is 2.2

To add login and registration links in the skin acsx file you need to navigate to your Portals > _default > Skins folder and add the links to the according file.
