Hi,

Using Dnn 6.2.4 with Smith Cart 5.22, PayPal standard gateway.

When the user closes the browser page right after having paid (so he is still on the PayPal website), the webservice URL set in the 'On Checkout Complete Event' SC setting is not called.

Moreover, when the user returns on the smith cart site, the cart still contains the products used in the paid order mentioned above and the message:
"We couldn't complete your payment.
Status : False
Message : "

Please note there is no message, which might be very confusing for the user.

Maybe it is related to the 'No email sent' problem, see http://www.smith-consulting.com/Forum... but when the email problem was reported, the webService was apparently called, so it is a regression.

I'm not sure I follow the scenario you described, if the user closes their browser at Paypal thus not returning to your site with Smith Cart, how does the user get back to your smith cart site and see the message we couldn't complete you payment? Are you saying that after closing your browser at Paypal you are opening a new browser window and going thru the checkout again and receive the message "we couldn't complete your payment" ?
