Hi Smith Cart Team,
I found one issue in my product detail page. I enabled sale prices in the cart settings. I added "Size" variant. When i select size in the size drop down , the regular price changes to sale price amount. Regular price and sale price is displaying same amount.
Let me explain you clearly. In my product detail page, a product regular price is Rs. 2400 and sale price is Rs. 1200. If i select size (say XL) in the size drop down, the regular price changes to sale price amount. Both the regular price and sale price ar eshowing Rs. 1200.
How can i resolve this issue? Mine is a live site.

Hi Swetha,
Which version of the Cart and DNN are you currently running?
How do you have your Variant configured?
The variant sale price can be entered as the actual sale price of the product or a sale price adjustment. If you enter price as an adjustment be sure to check the price adjustment checkbox. Variants defined as textboxes allow the user to enter a value into the textbox that can be used to calculate the total price of the product.

In the variant setup screen try setting the product lifecycle dropdown to "Sale" for the product variant you want to have on sale.

Why is "-79228162514264337593543950335.00" showing up for my Variant Sale Price???

I don't want to have products on sale but the sale price appears after I select the dropdown list for the product size. Then, when I view the cart, the regular price shows.

Hi Richard,
If you go into your product setup screen for the product that is displaying "-79228162514264337593543950335.00" and enter 0 for the sale price and save it should fix the issue.

Regular price still displays. Set Sale Price on product. Sale price appears in red on product detail page (after selecting size), then, click add to cart. Regular price still appears in cart.

Hi Richard,
In your Variant Setup screen, do you have the "Enter Prices as Adjustments" feature enabled. If this feature isn't enabled the Cart will charge the Price of the Product.

Unchecked it and now my prices are showing 0.00. My prices is set on the product but because I have sizes (as variants), It looks like that means I must set price on each size (variant). Is that true? If that is the case, is there any way to implement a sale without having to edit each variant?

Hi Richard,
If you would like to charge the Sale Price which is entered in the Product Setup screen for any of the Variants chosen by your users, check the "Enter Prices as Adjustments" checkbox and enter the Price and Sale Price of the Variant as "0". The Cart will apply the Sale Price at the Product Level.
If you would like to charge the Sale Price entered in the Variants setup screen, check the "Enter Prices as Adjustments", enter the Price and Sale Price of your Variant, then select "Sale" in the Lifecycle Status dropdown. This will charge the Sale Price for the selected Variant.
