Currently the Variant Zoom feature is not supported for the dropdown Variant Display Type. This is on our Dev Roadmap however our programming queue is currently full with paid customer projects so it has not been prioritized into programming. Try the following, please make sure you make a full backup before making any changes just in case you need to rollback:

1. Navigate to Host and click Extensions
2. Click the Edit Pencil for the Product Details module
3. Scroll down to the Module Definitions section and click edit on the Smith Product Details control
4. Check the "Enables Partial Rendering" checkbox
5. Save
6. Check for the issue
