Hi guys,

I've seen a rather large number of these errors in my event viewer the past few days. Any idea what might be causing them, or how I could even start to troubleshoot? Thanks!

What version of the cart are you getting this error on? The error is pretty generic we would need to deploy debug dlls to get a more descriptive error message. Is this on your live site or test site?

Please submit a help desk ticket by emailing helpdesk@smith-consulting.com so we can send you the debug dlls.

Thanks,

Hi Alex,

Try taking the following steps to resolve this issue:

1. From the store admin menu, click on the page template button to go into the page template editor and delete all your page templates.

2. In file explorer, navigate to your \portals\[portalid]\smithcart\tenplates folder

3. Delete all the files in the \portals\[portalid]\smithcart\templates folder

4. Reset iis and restart the application from the dnn host menu

5. Go to product listing page and see if your products are displayed.

Hope this helps!

Hey Kevin -

Does this last post mean you think it might have something to do with the custom template I have added to my product details pages?

Hi Alex,

It's possible. I would recommend making a backup of your customized template then resave the default template to confirm if the issue is caused by your custom template.
