I have found that only a product with no variants can be listed on the Featured Products page where an "Add to Cart" button is displayed.

If the product has variants such as Size or Colour, it displays an "Options" button on the regular Products page but does not display any button on the Featured Products page. A product with variants on the Featured Products page displays a link (where the Options button should be displayed) - the link is "Submit Query" and takes me to a page with no product data.

I think this may be a bug to be dealt with in a future release, but if it is an issue that has a work-around please let me know.

Will this be read by support staff and passed on to a bug-fix team or do I need to send it elsewhere?

Most likely you have the "options" image button missing. Depending on what version you have installed the name of the options button may vary but in the latest version 2.96 you can check for the image button located here /DesktopModules/Smith.BuyNow/images/options.gif

You will see the path to the image button in the FeaturedProducts.ascx file. If you dont have the image button there it will be in the orginal pa zip you installed from.
