I have two products with the only difference being the color of the material, so I am trying to add them together through product variants. I went and added the categories and then added the quantity discounts to each of the products. On the page for the customer to view, the prices appear as they should for the product and the quantity; however, once I go to check out the prices default to the original product price not the specific discount. Please help!

Using SmithCart Version 6.5 and DotNetNuke 7.02.02

Hi Nickie,

For your Variants, which "Price Type" do you have selected?

On your Discount Setup page, do you have the "Enable Product Quantity Discounts" option selected?

Please also upload a screenshot of your Product Setup screen so I can view your base product's setup.

I just tried to replicate this issue in our test store but the quantity discounts seems to be applying all the way through checkout. You can view this Product at the following link: http://www26.smith-consulting.com/Buy...

I would like to have you login to one of our public test portals and configure the cart the way you have your's configured and try to replicate the issue. This will determine if the issue you are reporting is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific DNN portal/cart install.

Thank you! By using the test site, I found out that if you have the discount by quantity on the product itself, it will override the quantity discounts on the variant. I deleted the the products quantity discount and just added the discounts for the product and its variants under the variants quantity discount tab, and now it is working correctly!
