I don't see one offhand, but is there any way to have the shipping cost be based on a percentage of the purchase?

Currently the cart does not support shipping cost based on a percentage of the purchase. The cart supports calculating shipping costs in the following ways:

  • Cart Shipping Calculator (USPS, UPS, FedEx, Canada Post)
  • Custom Ship Methods with Fixed Amounts
  • Custom Ship Methods By Weight
  • Custom Ship Methods By Order Amount
  • Custom Ship Methods By Zip Code
  • Shipping By Order Amount
  • Product Level Shipping Costs
  • Free Shipping

  • Doesn't this fit in under Shipping By Order Amount?  Instead of putting the shipping cost, why can't we put a % of the order?

    Currently in the Cart the manage shipping by order amount screen only supports entering dollar amounts and not percentages.
