Testing Smith Cart with PayPal Website Payments Pro in the sandbox. After a number of issues getting a valid Pro acount set up in the sandbox, I now have a Canadian account working ok.

With the currency set to GBP within the cart settings, PayPal show up the payment amount as the same value in USD as was passed across in GBP i.e. no conversion has taken place. I need to determine whether this is because Smith Cart is passing across USD to PayPal or simply an issue with the sandbox environment being Canadian.

Can someone please confirm that with the currency set up to GBP, this is actually what gets passed across to PayPal.

In the cart settings the currency setting only controls the display of the currency symbol in the cart. The cardholder country determines the currency the credit card is processed in.
