I have the category module displayed on a pane with my featured products. While clicking on a category will take me to the page with the main "Store", it doesn't select that category (like it used to). I have verified that the settings in the category module are correct.

The category module that is on the same page as the buynow module works as expected.

In the latest version of the cart 3.96 there was a change in the category module so you will need to go into the category module settings and select the buynow page name again and save your settings and it should work for you. We updated the www7 test portal so you can see it working.

Here is a link to a page with the category module on a page without the buynow module:

Hmmm... no joy. I see that is *IS* getting the categories properly.... but it's not passing the selected category to the page with the buynow module. I tried changing the categories module to a different page (the categories all disappeared), then back again (the categories re-appeared)... but selecting a category DOES take it to the page with the buynow, it's just not filtering the categories at that point... it's just going to the buynow page with the "default" products listed, not the filtered ones.

Once I'm on the page with the buynow, I can select the category (another copy of the category module, set up the same way) and the filters apply...

Weird. It's like it's calling the page, but not passing the filter over to the buynow module.

I have the categories menu on the home page and the buy now page (and some others).

Could you clear up a question I have regarding the proper use of this module? When I build the site, I first put the category menu on the buy now page. Then on the home page, when I put it there I use the DNN control panel to pick the existing module from the buy now page and I leave the copy checkbox unchecked. This way, I can style both menus with the same css because they have the same module id.

The category menu does not work on my website. The behavior with said module on all pages, is that a click on the menu on the other pages does respond with the buy now page; but the category is not selected. Worse than before, when a category is clicked on the buy now page, all categories still remain.

Should each use of the category menu be a separate module on each page? Or can all non-buy now pages have the same module; but the buy now page has to have its own? Is there a best practice to style the menu?

I have two category menus on most pages because I want to show different parts of the category tree. Is that a problem?
