Yes, so glad seo now sees the images of the product list, however, unlike the detail page, I'm not seeing the alt tag applied. I currently only have seo tags for product image 1 not sure if you could default the thumbnail image tag for that or if I'm missing a place to enter it for the thumbnail. Also webcrawler now seeing my product detail link for each product! NICE!!!

Also note: Heres a couple small edits that reduce W3C errors for each listing... I'm down to 5 now for my homepage... close your <br> with a <br/> and use nowrap="nowrap" instead of just nowrap...

Thanks for the heads up on the alt tags on the product list page and the W3C errors I have forwarded to programming to look at.

One other thing we noticed... for the link to the product page the url is www.domain.com/detail/productid/##/ke... Would be much better for seo if the link you included was the shorter version that works like you used to have it when it was a postback of www.domain.com/details/keyword.aspx hopefully that would be an easy fix... or maybe an option at least.

We have to have the productid in the url so that people can bookmark it. You can use ifinity url master to rewrite the url if you are looking to shorten or change it.

Well my concern is that we will penalized for duplicate content as the links that google can now crawl would be the longer one and we would/can use the shorter one... or if we had a way to use a canonical link somehow that would solve the problem too.

I can bookmark successfully the shorter url... perhaps if there is a keyword used you could generate the shorter url...

You should get penalized for duplicate content unless they both exist at the same time when google crawls and that isnt the case here. There is also a section in google webmaster tools where you can explicitely exclude a url from the crawler so you can add that if you like.

Yeah, I guess we could do that but we have over 111 products ... so we be not the best... The question is if we put in the shorter url in our sitemap and google crawls the longer one they would both exist wouldn't they?

Any idea on when the alt tags on the images on the buy now? As that I think is our biggest issue for launching the site...as we don't want the danger of alt tag spamming (we put in a hard code tag) or penalized for no alt tags if we take that out...

Thanks :) Really liking the cart so far!

Well I was able to snag the code that was building the url and put that in the alt tag... works great...
