We'd like to offer UPS Ground for free on our shipping.

How do we set that up?

We have tried adding a custom Shipping entry "UPS Ground Free" with fixed amount 0.00 and sort order 0, unchecked the normal UPS Ground option and checked Combine Shipping Methods. We always see either the single custom or the UPS options in the pulldown for shipping. When we go back into Cart Settings, the Combine Shipping Methods is unchecked again.

1. Is our method correct?
2. Shouldn't the Combine checkbox stay checked?

DNN 5.5.1 SC 2.90

When “Combine Shipping Methods” is checked the cart will fill the dropdown list of shipping methods on the cart screen with the regular shipping methods selected in the cart settings (UPS, USPS, FedEx or Canada Post) and the custom shipping method(s) defined in the custom shipping methods setup screen. The custom ship methods will appear as the last item(s) in the list of shipping methods. Can you confirm that you are running SC 2.9 and not 3.9.

Whoops. I meant version 3.90.

The combine shipping methods checkbox does not stay checked. Based on trials in IE6 and FF, I don't think the combine shipping textbox is being written to your settings database.

Shipping Setup is set to Cart Shipping Calculator.

I just tested the "Combine Ship Methods" checkbox and can confirm that its not being saved. I have sent into programming to fix and it will be released in the next version 3.92 scheduled to be released this friday. Thanks for reporting it!

In the meantime, I've looked for the database table.field with combine in it. I cannot find it. Could you tell me where it is?

Its stored in the "tabmodulesettings" table.

FYI

I found CombineSH in tabmodulesettings and set it to true.

No combination of shipping methods in the pull down appeared. In the cart settings page, the combine shipping checkbox is off even though the database is true.
