I get the following error. Any ideas?

A critical error has occurred.

Access to the path 'C:\inetpub\vhosts\tonersoutlet.com\httpdocs\634255123814624451HP.xls' is denied.

Do you get this error when you are trying to import products? What version of the cart are you running?

Scott, i get this error when uploading products. cart version 3.88. I downloaded the demo to specifically see how the upload works before I buy. I attached the excel file I am using to the post.

The error message "Access to the path 'C:\inetpub\vhosts\tonersoutlet.com\httpdocs\634255123814624451HP.xls' is denied"indicates a permissions issue on your host. Can you confirm that you have read, write, control permissions in that folder on your server.

Scott, I attached the permissions for the folder. I don't see the file.

It looks like you dont have permissions to that folder. Not sure what account web visitors run under for you host but the IUSR or Network Service account would need read/write/control to that folder.

That problem is now fixed and I am getting a new error

'Sheet1$' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long.

The sheet name of your Excel spreadsheet that contains the data your want to import must be named “Sheet1”. Please see the following sample xls import file http://www.smith-consulting.com/forums/forumid/4/threadid/2699/scope/posts.aspx

I get the same error even though my sheet is named Sheet1. Any other ideas?

I get it with one BUY Now admin screen, but not on the other.

Any word on if you have a copy of the 3.80 documentation?
