Hey, I've emailed about this and gotten no response so I thought I try to get an answer here.

Right now you have the Orbital gateway listed on your Payment Gateways page as a supported gateway. I was previously told that it is not supported and I have to pay to get it implemented, and even then I havent gotten response for a fixed quote. Why am I paying for a feature that you guys advertise is supported by your cart?

Also can someone PLEASE give me access to the downloads page of your site? I emailed over a day ago with no response. This is the fourth time I have asked and nothing has been done.

Accepted Answer

Here is the shopping cart page http://www.smith-consulting.com/produ... where all the gateways supported are listed and Chase Orbital is not listed there. Where did you see it listed? Your quote request to integrate the orbital gateway is in programming to quote now I will follow up on it and see if I can get it pushed out more quickly. We received your request for access to the downloads page yesterday afternoon and its getting created now and you should be receiving access info shortly.

That one caught me by surprise, too... until I took a closer look.

That's a DNN Payment gateway that Smith Consulting has, in the past, written. That page that lists the Orbital gateway was not in reference to, specifically, the Smith Cart module.

All in all, however, it should be fairly inexpensive since they've done it once.

That is a payment gateway integrations page providing general info and knowledge about payment gateways its not the shopping cart page that describes features of the cart. Right below the gateways listed it has info about requesting a custom gateway integration not anything stating that those gateways are integrated with the cart. Sorry for the confusion.

A better description of what is shown on that list might help. I assumed, and i think most people would assume, that if you list a gateway as supported, it would be supported in all of your products. The way it is described it almost seems intentionally vague.

Anyways thanks for the answer, any idea when i will hear back from development?
