my goal is to sepearte shipping costs among 3 zones:

U.K (£7.50)

Europe (£10.00)

International (12.50)

but also within this i would like to specify certain intangible products to be free shipping. I have selected Zone Shipping By Weight in the main settings of the cart. Then i have defined that all products of a weight of 0 to 1 ounce be free. i have customised each products weight so that my free shipping products are under 1 ounce and chargeable products are over 1 ounce. When testing this all products encounter a free shipping cost. Could someone be kind enough to detail how i would go about to rectify my issue.

Im not able to replicate this on my system but there are a lot different ways to configure zone shipping and I may not have my zone shipping configured the exact way you have. Can you login to our test site http://www7.smith-consulting.com/ and setup a test case and try to replicate the issue. This will determine if the issue is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific shipping configuration.
