Other coupon issues:

Coupon discount remains in cart even if the coupon expires before they use it.

1. Add coupon code to an item

2. Add item to cart and use item

3. Expire or allow the coupon to expire

4. Revist cart and the discount is still there

Cannot use multiple coupons on same order: We have talked about this and it involves a database table change among other things.

I'd like to make a feature request for a global coupon limit setting, where only n amount of coupons are available (with the possibility of combining that with deadline date, expiring when whichever comes first).

WOW, we discovered in the worst way that you cannot checkout with multiple coupons!? the worst part is that the system does not alert the user in any way that coupon1 has been replaced by coupon2 and that whatever value/savings were from the first coupon are gone. If the user is not paying attention, they miss the fact that the totals are not correct!

This is a pretty bad problem to have, has there been any progress towards allowing for multiple coupons since september 2010?
