Is there a way on the Smith.BuyNow Module to display the quantity of an item that you would like to order/add to cart (without having to go into the details and description of the item)?
Yes, the user is able to change the quantity for an item on the product list page, cart page and product detail page.

How do I get to this option? I do not have the checkbox to hide quantity checked, but am not having any luck showing it.
By default the cart shows all the qty txtboxes you must have the checkbox checked to hide the qty. Look in the cart admin settings under general cart settings you will see the checkbox titled "Hide Quantity" make sure its not checked.
Hide Quantity is unchecked, I'm still not seeing any quantities of products or a quantity option to add more of a prouct on the main page of the Buy.Now module, only on the product details page.
Have you modified the productlist.ascx page? Can you post the link to your site so i can see what your talking about.

On the product listing page when you choose the 2, 3 or 4 column layout the quantity textbox is hidden. When the product catalog is in the 2, 3 or 4 column layout we felt adding the quantity field made the screen too crowded.
