I've noticed that when I add items to my card the price is reflection the 1-5 quantity category (I always test with 7 of the item)

In order for that price break to be reflected, I have to select "Update Quantity" and then the price changes. Why is that? Same issue in every browser. I am still using demo, not sure if that matters or not.

Can you try to replicate this on the http://www7.smith-consulting.com test portal with the configuration you setup in your cart and then postback with the product you setup with qty discounts. If you can replicate on the test portal I will login and take a look.

Please send an email to support@smithcart.com if you need a login.

I can actually get father on my site. On your test site when I add 6 of the product (Microsoft XP @ $100) to the cart, it doesnt give the quantity discount. As well, when I actually go to checkout and try to hit update quantity it still does not update it (on my site it at least updates it in the cart area)

Used the following price discounts

ProductID Quantity From Quantity To Product Price
9 1 5 80.00 Edit Delete
9 6 11 50.00 Edit Delete
9 12 24 30.00 Edit Delete

Thank you

Same thing on the test site, see my last post. Unless I hit update quantity, the quantity break price adjustment doesn't take.

Are you using Category quantity discounts or Price Class quantity discounts?

Oiy I don't think either? I beleive it's all just per product, not category or price class.

When I'm editing the product (description, sku, etc) I go to discount (so manage product -> PID -> discount ) and add them there

I have to do it product based regardless because our discount isnt uniform for a particular category or price class, each product simply has a different quantity break discount and a different price.

If you are using product quantity discounts you need to select "Product Level Discounts" under the discounts section in the buynow settings. Did you select that radio button option?

Just tried again and the same issue happens. I can add 10 of the product to the cart (discount for 6-10 drops the product cost to $50) and in the cart when I view the cart it shows up as $700, but if I hit the update quantity button it drops the price to the correct amount, $500
