Quantity reappears after search

I have found a potential bug on the buy now module. Under General Cart Setup I have the "Hide Quantity" checked. When I go to the page the quantity is not displayed and that is correct. I have the "Show Search Bar" radio button clicked. When I do a search the results are shown with the quantity box showing. Why isn't the Hide Quantity working in this case? Can you please correct it? Thanks.
