Can product on-hand quantities be uodated automatically? Specifically can the SQL data be updated direclty rather than using the User Interface. I woudl liek to check on-hand quantities and update frequently every day.

There are two ways that you can update quantity on hand outside of the product management screen:

  1. You can use the product import feature on the store admin menu
  2. You can use SQL Management studio to import products directly to the products table. If you create an import in SQL Server you can use SQL Server to schedule it to run on a nightly basis.

I *thought* that I had posted a script to do that (from MAS90) in the How To's. If not, let me know.... I'll post something for you.
