Hi,

This problem is quite important... In doing "sandbox" testing, I setup a test download product for 1.95. I entered all the info for purchasing, but, left the expiration date as invalid. I then got a declined error from the server because of the invalid expiration date. I then hit the back option and there was a serial number listed for each failed purchase attempt. So as you can see, the serial numbers are showing BEFORE the successful purchase.

I then went back and corrected the date of the credit card, and made a successful purchase, but you can see I got multiple serial numbers, but only paid one time.

Thanks for any reply on this. This is quite an important issue.

Steve

Upon further examination. when logging in with the test account and viewing my account info, my account list is showing all the failed purchases as "Cancelled", with the serial numbers. So all declined sales are getting a serial number assigned to it, and is visible without making a purchase in the order listings. Just click the "Select" link, and all your failed serial codes are listed.

I also discovered that the download links on Cancelled orders are showing. In the Smith.MyAccount list, the failed orders show BOTH the download link, and a serial number.

I have sent this into programming to change the my accounts module to only show "approved" orders. This should take care of the downlink issue being displayed also. We will either release a hotfix for this or it will be part of the cart v3.9 build released in the next week.

That is good Scott. If possible, make sure they know about the multiple serial numbers assigned to an order. This may all be in the same part of the code, so they may already know about it.

The issue of serial numbers be assigned on declined orders has been fixed and is being released in version cart v4.0 tomorrow end of day.
