Is there a way to complete an order without charging a credit card? I have a client who wants to take the CC# from the customer but not charge it.

If you check the "Authorize Only" check box in the BuyNow module settings, this will authorize the credit card and allow you to manually settle it later. The authorize only feature is supported on the following payment gateways:

  • Authorize.Net
  • PayPal Standard
  • PayPal Website Payments Pro
  • PayPal Payflow Pro
  • Sage Payment Solutions (SagePay)
  • UGSPAY (ugspay.com)
