In the United States there is not state that is abbreviated AE. There are four Military "states" with the abbreviation AE and they are Armed Forces Africa, Armed Forces Canada, Armed Forces Europe, and Armed Forces Middle East. Not sure if AE should be added as a country or state but in the cart United States and Canada are the only countries with state dropdowns, the rest of the countries have a region field. In any event it is easy enough to add just add the "AE" record to either the smith_state or smith_country table whichever is appropriate.

I added these zones to the Smith_State table. We just had an armed services person try to order today but they could not.

The only problem is that we have a custom shipping method in place with special pricing, and they get this error during the checkout process:

"The requested service is unavailable between the selected locations."

Would you all know a workaround on this? The custom shipping method should not be tied to anything that I can find.

I appreciate the support. My concern is that when I update to the new versions of smith cart, I will have to keep changing the smith state file back to the way I want it.

Couldn't these Armed Forces states be included in the newest version? It seems like a number of us are having this problem.
