I do not want to speak out of place here, but there is one drawback to using PayPal. First, of course you have to log the "temporary" sale data. This is because after the sale on the paypal site, the browser MUST return back to your store to register a success, and then correctly mark the sale as complete. If a customer does one of 2 things:

1. Cancels from the PayPal site.

2. Closes the browser after a successful purchase at PayPal BEFORE the transfer back to your store

...the sale will not be marked as completed. You will see False listed in the order list in your cart, knowing it was a PayPal order that was never completed.

In my opinion, PayPal should have IMMEDIATE return as we just had a customer admit to closing the browser before coming back to our site, and we never knew there was a completed order!

One option may be for the Smith folks to log all PayPal sales in a temp folder, and then copy it over on success. But then, this would leave a hole in being able to manually convert a sale where the customer did not wait for the browser to return to your store. There are more advanced API's by PayPal where return is immediate, but website payments standard does not have immediate return I think.

I am just mentioning this as a note for guidance...
