Customize the Product List

I found on the forum, that it is possible to display the Summary column in the productslist.ascx. Is it possible to display the Category in the Product List?

In the cart admin settings under the general cart configuration there is a checkbox called "Show Cateagories" that displays the categories in the product list when checked

I tried the Show Categories checkbox but I do not want to show all categories. I want to display in my Product list the Category Name of the Product . Very similar to what can be done with the Summay field.

For example in the product list I want a grid to be displayed. The headers would be as following.

Category Name.....Product Name.....Summary......Product Price.....Add to Cart Button

I would like to second this request, I have used Product SKU to acheive the same effect for now and modified the productlist.ascx

I would also like to request that we have a grouping by category in the productlist.

We have added this to the dev list. Fyi, in version 2.86 released tomorrow we have added category name to the url on the product list page and product name to the url on the product details page for improved SEO performance.
