I just installed 2.72 and added the Featured Products module to the TopPane of my Home page and non of the products I have selected as featured will link back to the catalog in SmithCart. Any help would be appreciated.

An update to this problem:

When you want to show the Featured Products module on a different page other then the one you installed Smith.BuyNow module to, the product links are tied to the page the module was added to, not back to the Smith.BuyNow page.

Has anyone tried to show the Featured Products on a different home page than the page that the Smith.BuyNow module is installed to?

I am building a site that has the shopping features nested into a Shop page, not the on the Home page.

This seems to be a common practice, I just can get it to work properly with SmithCart.

Currently in the cart the featured products module needs to be on the same page as the main buynow module. We are fixing this in the next release so you can put the featured products module on any page in your portal. Look for it to be released mid next week.

In the cart v2.83 to be released this Thursday April 29th you can now add the featured products module or mini cart modules to any page in your portal. Prior to this release the featured products and mini cart module were required to be on the same page as thee buynow module.

Thats cool. How about the categoies menu? Can it be placed on a page other than a page with the buy.now module?

Its just for the featured products and mini cart module in the latest release. The ability to add the category menu on a page other than a page with the buy.now module in next!
