When trying to edit content for the Smith Cart Checkout Pages you cannot add modules to the checkout pages or edit or add content.   This is also true for Smith Carts Login and Register page.  Am I missing something simple.

/Store/tabid/41/ctl/Cart/mid/393/Default.aspx

I'm logged in as a host and the appropiate permissions have been added.

We are using Morpehus SkinLab, Smith Cart 4.28, and DNN 5.6.2

Why doesn't Smith Cart inherit all settings for the applied skin.

Hi Jon,
In DNN you can only add modules or content in an html module to a page you cant add modules to a module. The BuyNow module is a module made up of several user controls (ascx files) that make up the checkout so you can add other 3rd party modules to the "page" with the buynow module, product detail module, category module, etc. The product list page is the parent or the first ascx page in the BuyNow module so you are able to add 3rd party modules to the product listing page. All the other checkout pages; cart, step 1, etc are sub controls that you are not able to add 3rd party modules to. In order to do what you are looking to do each page in the checkout would have to be its own module which would be to much work to configure. If you would like to add content or for example a secure logo for your SSL on the cart checkout pages you can add any content by opening the ascx file and adding your images, content, etc.

Scott:

I think he was referring to adding more modules on the checkout page.

I hate to bring up the SSL issue again, but are there any plans to move checkout from products sub pages to a separate module that can exist on a secure page?

For PCI compliance the checkout steps require SSL, but we are forced to use SSL on products and images because of this limitation.

This would solve the problem of skins, adding other modules and SSL in one sweep.
