Hello!

I am using the trial version of Smith Cart to see if it will work for us.  I am currently running DNN 05.02.03.  I am planning to upgrade the DNN version prior to purchasing the shopping cart.  I am not sure if that is why I am receiving this error.

Here is my error:

I just installed the trial version today...4.31.  I get this error when I am in the Buy Now module and click View Cart.

I also get another error on the product details page when I click any of the products:  (PLUS...nothing but this error is displayed on the product details page)

A critical error has occurred.
Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.Entities.Content.ContentItem' from assembly 'DotNetNuke, Version=5.2.3.74, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

Thanks!

Attached are screen shots of the error messages.  Let me know what other info may help!

Hi Michelle,

In your Cart Settings do you have your product detail page set? Also have you added any items to the Cart before you clicked View Cart? And on the ProductDetail Page do you have the BuyNow Page set to the Product List Page?

Thanks, Kevin

Yes...Yes...and Yes!  I followed the quick set up...then I went through the manual step by step...so that is why I am a little confused as to what the problem is.  I even thought it could be my test Paypal info so I tried it as Manual and received the exact same error.

Any other ideas?  I even set up 2 different sets of pages and (while I didn't uninstall it...I re-installed the files and wrote over what I had...) Still no luck exact same error.

Thanks!  I have sent in a couple of requests and so far I've not received a response.  I recognize this is the weekend and support may be down until Monday.  Is that the case?  Should I expect the hotfix to be sent to me on Monday.

I unzipped and copied the files to the \bin folder and it did not fix the error.  I have 2 separate errors.  Here is what it says along with a print screen.

Unfortunately...Yes!

I have attached a screen shot...maybe I configured something else incorrectly (or maybe it doesn't like hyphens in the page title)

Try it without hyphens in the page names.
