Hi there,

I recently purchased the shopping cart module and I am very impressed with it.

The cart manual is a huge help and very imformative.

There are a few things that I haven't been able to figure out yet and I am hoping someone else here will be able to help me.

On the buynow module, by default it will only list 10 products per page. Is there a way to change this number?

Also, on the Product Detail module, is there a way to make sure all the main product images are set to a certain size? Some images are to large in width and height and push all the text into the side of the module. Any way to set a maximum for length and width?

Thank you!

Kel Smith

Hi Kel,

Which version of the Cart are you running?

We just released a new feature for Cart v.4.36 in the BuyNow module settings product listing setup section add a new checkbox setting titled “Show Records Dropdown”. When “Show Records Dropdown” is checked the “Records” dropdown on the product listing page will be displayed. When “Show Records Dropdown” is checked a textbox titled “Records Dropdown Values” will be displayed that allows you to enter a comma separated list of numbers to be displayed in the records dropdown.

For Cart prior to v.4.36 to change the number of items displayed on the Product Listing page please see the following forum post: http://www.smith-consulting.com/Forum...

The image the Product Details module will display will be the same size as the image initially uploaded to the product. To correct this, resize the image to the desired size then upload that image in the Manage Products screen.

Thanks

Kevin,

The new settings for records in v4.36 works well except that the value does not persist for the session. The selected count only works once then the next time the products page is displayed it uses the first value. I am not sure if this is the intended behaviour but it is really noticable with many items and my users have complained about it.

Hi Dwayne,

The records have not been programmed to persist however that is a great idea. I will will add your suggestion to the Enhancement Requests forum or if you would like to quote to make the change you can send an email to sales@smith-consulting.com with a link to this forum post.

Thanks, Kevin
