I am running dnn 5.6.0 and smith-cart  4.46.0

A couple of things -

I have a coupon code set up for a recurring product that provides a $5 discount. $30 - 5 = $25  the amount charged was correct $25 but the amount that shows in the recurring transaction on authorize.net ARB was the full amount. $30.

As an FYI

I upgraded from a previous version of smith-cart and it reset up my recurring settings. I had a customer submit an order and there was this error

[E00003] The element 'ARBCreateSubscriptionRequest. He successfully made the payment - twice actually - not sure what happened but the recurring flag was not set at authorize.net. I re-set the recurring settings  again and did a test transaction and it seemed to work.

Hi Carl,

In Cart v.4.46 a new coupon feature has been added. There is now a new checkbox field in the coupon management screen titled "Discount First Recurring Payment Only" which only applies to recurring payments. When checked applies coupon discount to the first recurring payment only. Before this new feature was added a coupon discount would apply to all recurring payments if you had recurring billing configured for a product.

When upgrading, It is always a good idea to re-save your settings to initialize any new settings that may have been added to the module. You can also refer to the Change Log to the left of the forum pages for fixes, upcoming changes, and releases.

Thanks,

Thansk for the quick reply Kevin

I do not have the Discount First Recurring Payment Only Flag set and need the discount to apply to all recurring payments. I had a customer submit a payment for $25 which included a $5 discount. The card was charged for the correct amount $25, but the amount in the Authorize.net ARB schedule shows $30 which should be $25.

Another thing I noticed is that the emails are being sent out blank. I initialized the templates in the control panel and did a test but the emails are blank with no subject line. for both customer and admin. This is new, they used to send out fine prior to upgrade.

One more thing :)

I have an instance of the buy now with only 2 products and I want the product thumbnail to be sized extra large in the list but no matter what I set the thumbnail size to in the settings, the size stays the same. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Carl,

I will test the recurring billing with a discount and report back with my findings.

In regards to your email question, which emails are showing up blank, which emails are you referring to? User Email, Admin Email,or Ship To Email?

The thumbnail is dynamically resized in memory and saved when images are uploaded with a product. To resize your thumbnail image on the ProductList page open up the thumbnail folder located in the /DesktopModules/Smith.BuyNow/images folder, open the image in your image editor and resize the image then save it back to the same folder.

Thanks,
