The cart page taxes calculate correctly when the "Calculate Shipping"  button is clicked and the correct shipping amount is entered in as well.

However, when you go to the "Proceed to Checkout"  which is Step 1 of the Checkout Process and you hit the "Back" button on the Step 1 page it wipes out the sales tax and sets it to 0% when you return back to the cart page.

This happens in both versions of Smith Cart 4.49 and Smith Cart 4.50. Essentially the customer could avoid paying taxes. Is there anyway that this can be fixed right away.

I'm hitting the "back" button on the Step 1 page.    I'm not hitting the back button of the browser.  My tax settings are to charge taxes for all shipments orginating out of Wisconsin with a tax of 5.5%.

Problem still exists in 4.57.  Taxes are not recuculating as mentioned in this post.
