Hi Guys,

We've finally decided to go with the Virtual Payment Gateway option as there is another application running on the client's website which only works with this option.

I have sat on the phone with MyGate now that we are using the Virtual and gone through a transaction with them and according to them, the transaction goes through no problem but when the site returns from the MyGate site, we get Status: DECLINED error.

If it is working on their end, I am then assuming there must be something wrong with Smith Cart when the confirmation is sent back?

You can use the following details to do a transaction:

 

Account username: anina
Account password:  Jensen67

Dummy Credit card:
Card Name: Joe Soap
Card Number (No spaces):  4111111111111111
Card Type: Visa
Card Expiry Date: Any time in the future
CCV Number: 123

Hi James,

That is a decline message from the payment gateway. The cart sends the credit card transaction to the payment gateway and displays the message back from the gateway. Since you are using Test Credentials, do you have "Test Mode" enabled in the Gateway Setup section?

Hi Kevin,

I was on the phone with the guys over at MyGate when we went through a transaction together and they confirm that the payment goes through successfully on their end. We have done this in test mode and live mode with a dummy credit card and an actual credit card, both with the same result.

This leaves me to believe that there is something wrong with the Cart.

Hi James,

I have not been able to replicate this issue, can you login to our test site and try to replicate the same results? This will determine if the issue is with the latest version of the cart or an issue with your specific dnn portal/cart install. Please email me a kevin@smith-consulting.com if you need login credentials.

I had explained that MyGate has had a change to their web service API for MyGate Enterprise. This has been implemented and is in beta test right now. It will be released in cart v4.56 on 8/29. Have you requested the beta release? If you are interested in getting a beta version of cart v4.56 prior to the release, please email support@smith-consulting.com.

Hi James,

reading back through this forum thread, I noticed that you are using the MyGate Virtual Payment Gateway, the change that was made was to the MyGate Enterprise Gateway, we will research if there have been any changes made to MyGate Virtual Payment Gateway as well, and will post back.
