I just upgraded to version 2.87 and after doing so whenever I click on any product instead of going to the product detail page, it just reloads the product listing page and generates the following error message. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John

I went from 2.85 to 2.87. I never had access to 2.86.

Thanks, John

In v2.87 there is a new field called "URL Keywords" added to the product setup -> SEO screen. Try going to that screen and adding a keyword in the url keywords field.

I don't have a field labelled URL Keywords in 2.87. The 4 fields in the SEO Tags section are URL Name, Title Tag, Description Tag, and Keyword Tags. I entered data into these fields but it didn't solve the problem. Is it possible that missing 2.86 is causing the problem? If so is there a way I can downgrade without loosing all our data and then building back up?

We are scheduled to launch 4 related sites for this major client in 12 days and are experiencing severe bugs in 5 modules now that are derailing the project. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks, John

Can you try to install the cart v2.87 on a new dnn install to see if it works for you.

Scott,

I reinstalled 2.87 and it worked fine afterwards. So, I guess something went wrong during the installation even though no errors were reported. So, I guess I'm good now.

BTW, I can no longer access the current version downloads. Do I need to do something different to get the current versions again?

Thanks for your help,

John

Scott,

Yes, I got it, thanks. Does this mean that I need to reqest the links for the new downloads each time a new version is released? I'm trying to understand your processes. I didn't purchase the module through Snowcovered as I usually do at David's request to save you guys money and so I'm not getting new release notifications like I do through Snowcovered and I don't seem to have a way to get the new releases myself the way I do with other vendors. So, I'm trying to figure your system out.

Thanks,

John

We are in the process of setting up a downloads page where new updates can be downloaded without having to email. This should be setup within a week so you dont have to monitor our site and request via email. Thanks for your patience!

Accepted Answer

The downloads page is now availible for Smith Cart. Starting today, all users who purchase the shopping cart from our site will automatically have access to the downloads page. Existing users who purchased the shopping cart from either our site or snowcovered will need to email support@smithcart.com to have your userid added to the proper role to access the downloads page.
