I have a Content Manager role on our site for non-administrators to manage articles, etc... After installing SmithCart I assigned the Content Manager role Edit permissions for the module. While they Add Product option shows up, the Content Manager cannot actually get to the Add Product page. It just spins indefinitely. Is there a different way to give access so they can manage the products?

This issue is now fixed and we have released the new Store Admin Menu for the cart. The new Store Admin Menu will allow you to define role access based permissions to users to manage your store

In order to setup a user to manage the store only but not have admin access to the portal do the following:

1. Add a new role (i.e. Content Manager) to your portal from the admin - > Security Roles menu option.

2. Assign the user you want to manage the store to that role.

3. On the page where you have the Smith.BuyNow module loaded click the settings button on the DNN control panel at the top of the page.

4. The page settings screen will be displayed. In the permission section of the page settings check the “View” and “Edit” checkboxes for the Content Manager role.

5. Click the update button and the bottom of the screen to save the new permissions. The user that you have designated to manage your store will now have permissions to manage the store but not have access to the dnn admin functions.
