Can you give me any idea when you think the issue with Sale Price not presenting on the front end may be fixed.

Hi Robert,
The back end for Sale Price is built but the front end piece is not complete and has not been prioritized to programming. Unless it comes in as a sponsored project it realistically wont be scheduled to be programmed in the next 4-5 weeks. If your client has budget to sponsor please send an email to sales@smith-consulting.com to receive a fixed quote.

Unless it comes in as a sponsored project the Sale Price won't be scheduled to be programmed soon. You are always welcome to submit an Enhancement Request Enhancement Requests forum here: http://www.smith-consulting.com/Forum...
We prioritize programming on our modules in the following order:
-
Bug Fixes
-
Sponsored or paid change requests
-
Enhancements with the most requests

Hello,
There are many different methods SmithCart supports the use of a "Sale Price", through Member Discounts, Member Prices By Role, Member Discount By Role, Coupons, Price Class Discounts, Product Level Discounts, Category Level Discounts, Order Level Discounts By Role, Category Quantity Discounts, and Quantity Discounts.
In regards to the "Sale Price" feature, the back end for Sale Price is built but the front end piece is not complete, and realistically will not be forwarded into programming unless it comes in as a sponsored feature enhancement. If your client has budget to sponsor please send an email to sales@smith-consulting.com to receive a fixed quote.

I just upgraded and noticed the backend Sales Price feature. I think this would be a great feature and I can't imagine it being that hard to implement like the help for Sales Price indicates in the backend.
"Product listing and product detail pages will show the regular price with a strikethrough with the sale price displayed in red."

Hi Rod,
This feature has been completed and will be available in the next release of the Cart v.4.82.
When Sale Price is configured for a product, the Product Listing and Product Detail pages on the front end Cart will display the regular price with a strikethrough and the Sale Price will be displayed in red so the customer can see they are getting the product on sale.

How come I have v4.86 installed and the Sale Price feature still doesn't work? I put a value in the Sale Price field but the regular price remains on the Product Listing and Product Detail pages. Am I missing something?

Hi Doug,
Did you enable Sales Prices in the Coupon and Discount Setup section of your Cart Settings? When checked displays product sale prices in the product catalog (product list and poduct detail pages).
